- TInvestors need to meet the following requirements as follows :

• Principal applicant (PA) must be at least 18 years old

• Unmarried children under age 18 can be included / children over 18 must be full-time students, unmarried and financially dependent on the PA

• Parents / grandparents of the PA (or spouse) aged at least 55 can be included if they are financially dependent on the PA

• Posses a decent and good character, pass a due diligence examination and have no criminal record

• Undergo a medical examination and being healthy

• Make a one-time payment donation to the Dominica government or purchase an approved real estate

Important : Mandatory, applicants are required to contact a government-approved Authorised Economic Citizenship Agent who is responsible for preparing all the required forms and supporting documents on your behalf.

- The approximate time required in processing a Dominica citzenship by Investment application until finalization was around 8-10 months.

- Step 1 : Preparation of a complete Dominica Citizenship by Investment application including signed government forms, investment agreement or real estate documents (depending on the preferred investment option), medical examination reports, and supporting documents.

- Step 2 : Initial submission of the package containing the Dominica Citizenship by Investment and Passport by Investment applications to the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CBIU) of the Dominica government. The CBIU will review the case's file, conduct a due diligence or background check.
- Step 3 : Upon issuance of an Approval in Principal letter, for the Government Funds Donation option, within 30 days, applicants must transfer the total investment amount into the newly-opened Economic Citizenship escrow account held with the National Bank of Dominica. On the contrary, for the real estate purchase option, the investment amount must be transferred into the bank account designated by the Escrow Agent.

- Step 5 : Issuance of Dominica Passports upon submission of a Passport application to the the Immigration Department. Passports are issued in approximately 2-3 weeks.
