      * Commencing January 2023 onwards, the new Citizenship by Investment Board of Governors will be responsible for the overall management of the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU). ▶ St. Kitts and Nevis CIP Requirements
      The principal applicant must be at least 18 years old. Applicants must make a one-time investment in St. Kitts and Nevis either in a real estate project or a donation to the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC). An Application for Registration as a Citizen of St. Kitts & Nevis [under the Saint Christopher and Nevis Citizenship Act, 1984, Part II, Section 3(5)] must be properly completed by the principal applicant along with his/her qualified family members : dependent children and siblings aged under 25 years old ; and/or dependent parents and grandparents aged over 65 years old. Applicants must pass a Due Diligence and complete a medical examination.

▶ St. Kitts and Nevis CIP Processing Time?
      St. Kitts citizenship and passports granted within approx. 4 months (SISC Donation route).

▶ St. Kitts and Nevis CIP Application Process
      Step 1 :File Preparation - A complete St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment application including signed government forms, investment agreement or real estate documents, medical exam reports, and any supporting documents.
        • Initially, you need to choose an Authorized Agent because you cannot apply directly to the Government. • All the forms and documents must be prepared via an Authorized Agent. • The due diligence fees are due at this stage.
          Step 2 : Citizenship File Submission - Initial filing of the package containing the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment and Passport by Investment applications to the CIU of the St. Kitts government. The CIU will review the case, conduct a due diligence or background check.
            • All case files must be uploaded to CAMS prior to being submitted to the CIU.
          Step 3 : CIU processes your application and, upon approval, issues an Approval in Principle notification. Subsequently, the investment funds are transferred into a newly opened escrow account according to the selected option, and government fees are paid if applicable.
            • Feb 2023 : No further extensions will be granted after 30 days beyond the expiration date of the statutory deadline!
          Step 4 : Issuance of Certificate of Registration (COR) for each family member.
            • 24 Feb 2023 : Replacement of lost CORs, a fee of US$1,500 must be paid along with submission of a notarized police report and sworn affidavit to the CIU.
          Step 5 : Issuance of St. Kitts and Nevis Passports in approximately 2-3 weeks upon submission of a Passport application.
